CANDLELIGHT CHILDREN'S PARADE

Bring the Christmas spirit to life as we light up the downtown! Join the countdown to light the Opera House tree, enjoy free hot chocolate & treats plus meet SANTA! The Candlelight Parade will begin at the corner of Mississaga St E and Front St, promptly at 7pm, so please get there early to pick up your candles before the parade starts.

THE OFFICIAL TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

The 2024 Orillia tree lighting ceremony will take place on November 22. The tree, a new blue spruce, is located in front of the Orillia Opera House. A fundraising campaign raised almost $10,000 to transplant the tree. The official tree lighting will happen at 7:30 pm after the Candlelight Parade

THE ORILLIA FARMER'S MARKET & GUESTS: VENDORS

The Orillia Farmers Market adds the Friday Evening with additional Vendors in the Opera house. Plus they are back on Saturday morning for the regular Farmers Market Vendors

The 119th Annual Orillia Santa Clause Parade arrives November 23rd! Join us in Downtown Orillia from 5pm-7pm The largest Christmas parade north of Toronto! With over 100 floats, bands and Santa himself to usher in the season!
